- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★March 08, 2020, by William LewisI kept putting out poison for the squirrels in my yard. Seemed they were only getting fat on it -- 4 pounds of it over several months. I gave up, until last August, when I bought a WCS trap. By the end of the year, I had caught 12 squirrels and three rats, all on peanut butter. I'm in a city lot, but one home away from some open space. Seems like I depleted the whole population, but now in February 2018, I just caught one, and have seen another in my yard. He won't last long! I love my WCS trap!
